On reflection

Open City do far more than organise the annual Open House event. I joined their photographic walk around the City of London, where the contemporary architecture ... encouraged reflection.

While reflections are always fascinating (perhaps because we feel they give us a glimpse into a parallel universe), it is a fact worthy of note that what we enjoy seeing is not the bland fish-tank style monstrosities that do the reflecting but the older buildings they reflect, whose beauty and quality knock the reflectors into a cocked hat.
